Expressives in Taras Shevchenko’s epistolary: markers of different levels and stylistic features.

The attempt to reveal the most subtle emotional experiences of Taras Shevchenko at different stages of his life by linguistic facts of the poet’s epistolary, addressed to friends, familiar persons was taken in this article. Lexical and semantic markers of expressives, particularly popular spoken formulas, deminutives and coarsened forms, the use of red-tape stamps and books’ outdated vocabulary for the purpose of imitation of a "bureaucratic speech" of the nineteenth century are thoroughly investigated. The characteristics and frequency of use of expressive morphological markers, and syntactic means of expressiveness making of Taras Shevchenko’s epistolary, where the most regular are elliptical sentences and addresses-poeticisms to friends are also studied.References
